"What can I say...I was very pleased with the promptness that ShelterCare handled the claim for the passing of our adopted cat "Lincoln". After we got him home, he became lethargic after a week. We took Lincoln to the vet and was told he had distemper and had to be put down. After all was said and done, my wife and I were $372.00 short from our bank account. I remembered the 30-Day ShelterCare Gift Policy that came with the adoption. I got the claim form filled out by my vet and faxed everything to ShelterCare. A week later I received a check in the mail for $322.00 (minus the $50.00 deductible). I say that if you are looking at adopting an animal from a shelter ask if they have the 30-Day ShelterCare Gift Policy. It is an awesome program and will only help other people to adopt with that security. Great job ShelterCare!"
