The PetPoint User Referral (PURR) Program
Pethealth is proud to introduce the PURR PROGRAM – a new way for current PetPoint clients to streamline the work they already do with other rescues & shelters and to generate great donations along the way.
What is the PURR Program?
The PURR Program is a referral program for current PetPoint clients, which allows them to receive donations of microchips, digital cameras, and even a laptop (equipped with wireless) for referring other groups.
PetPoint will make donations for all referrals of new humane societies or animal shelters which begin to use PetPoint in their day-to-day operations. See the list below of great donations your organization could receive!

How does my organization get started?
- Login to PetPoint, select Admin – Referral Program, and provide the information requested about the organization that you are referring to PetPoint;
- Call the organization that you are referring to let them know that a PetPoint representative will be calling them to discuss moving to PetPoint. We strongly encourage you to discuss the benefits of PetPoint, ShelterCare, and 24PetWatch before making a referral;
- The Shelter or Humane Society that you are referring may contact us directly at www.petpoint.com, petpointsales@petpoint.com, or via 866-630-7387. They must indicate you were the referring organization to qualify you for donations should they become PetPoint Users.
- You are welcome to participate in the online PetPoint demonstration with your referred organization if you would like to be a resource to them during their setup & training, to ensure they do begin using PetPoint for day-to-day operations.
Remember, that in order to receive the donations, the organizations referred must actually move to PetPoint and begin using it for day-to-day operations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When does the PURR Program start and end?
A: The PURR Program began May 14th, 2007 and runs through December 31st, 2007. All referrals must be submitted within this time period to qualify for the donations.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of microchip donations, camera donations, or entries into the laptop contest an organization can receive?
A: No, so start networking with other shelters & humane societies that aren't running PetPoint today!
Q: When will an organization receive the donations for the referrals they have provided?
A: Donations will be done on a quarterly basis, at the end of the first full quarter the referred organization begins using it for day-to-day operations. The draw for the laptop will be made in the first week of January 2008.
Q: Do referrals previously made qualify for the donations?
A: We appreciate your support in the past, however only referrals made between May 14th and December 31st 2007 qualify for PURR program.
