Pethealth Inc. Announces Board Appointment

Oakville, ON. – July 11, 2005. Mr Richard Renaud, Chairman of Pethealth Inc. (TSXV:PTZ), is pleased to announce that Mr Harold P. (“Sonny”) Gordon, Q.C., Chairman of Dundee Corporation, has joined the board of Pethealth. Prior to becoming Chairman of Dundee Corporation in 2001, Mr. Gordon served as Executive Director and Vice Chairman of Hasbro Inc., from 1995 to 2002, and was a Partner with Stikeman Elliott from 1975 to 1995 where he served in several capacities, including a Managing Partner. Mr Gordon also currently sits on the boards of Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc., Dorel Industries Inc., Jeanne Sauvé Scholars, Madacy Entertainment L.P., Transcontinental Inc. and Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc.

Pethealth also announced that Mr. Michael Cooper, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust, has stepped down from the board after having served as a director since December 2000.

Mr. Gordon was granted 1,000,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.15 under the Employee Stock Option Plan previously approved by the TSX Venture Exchange in December 2000. In accordance with the Employee Stock Option Plan, the options have a term of 10 years and vest over 5 years.

The board of Pethealth Inc. is now comprised of the following individuals: Mr David Atkins (Senior Advisor, Lang Michener); Mr Harold P. (“Sonny”) Gordon (Chairman, Dundee Corporation); Mr Pierre Raymond (Partner, Stikeman Elliott); Mr Richard Renaud (Chairman, Wynnchurch Capital); Ms Marty Smart Wilder (Executive Director, Pet Food Association of Canada); Mr Mark Warren (President & CEO, Pethealth Inc.); and Mr Don Watt (Chairman, DW+Partners).
